A near-ghost town of roughly fifty people where NM-9 meets NM-146, about thirty miles from the Mexican border. There is no fuel, water or shop — carry your own, and the nearest services are in Hachita's larger neighbour Animas or back in Deming. The old school and church shells are on private land; view from the road.
