What happened here

The shuttered Camel Rock Casino, on Tesuque Pueblo land north of Santa Fe, was used as a filming and costume facility during production of News of the World; the tribe subsequently converted the building into Camel Rock Studios, citing the film as the catalyst.

Trivia

The success of housing News of the World's production helped convince Tesuque Pueblo to convert the former casino into a full-time studio, believed to be the first Native American-owned movie studio in the US.
